Hands-Free Safety. Instinct-Activated Protection
Because not everyone can scream, aim, or react in time.

Project Description
Hi, I’m Christine Nicole Henderson.
I’m a personal trainer, a runner… and a survivor of an assault that changed everything.
I had jogger’s mace in my hand when it happened.
I was trained. I was strong. I was prepared.
And I still froze.
That moment exposed a gap no one talks about: most safety tools are designed for people who can respond.
But not everyone does. And even when we can, seconds matter.
That’s why I created a new kind of personal alarm.
Hands-free. Wearable. Instinctive.
It’s designed to activate even when you can’t.
Yes—it’s for the people who freeze.
But it’s also for everyone.
Because whether you’re walking to your car, jogging at dusk, or out with your child, we all deserve something that gives us a head start—a few precious seconds to react.
And sometimes, those seconds are the difference between becoming a target… or being left alone.
This device doesn’t rely on your hands, your phone, or your voice.
It stays ready—discreetly worn and quietly alert—until the moment danger finds you.
It doesn’t just buy time. It sends a clear signal that someone is not alone—and that help may already be on the way.
That alone can be enough to stop an attack before it starts.
⸻
With your help, I’m building the prototype so I can bring this to life.
I’ve filed a provisional patent, and I’m working with an engineer to develop it for real-world testing.
But more than that, I’m building momentum for a shift in how we think about personal protection.
Because handheld tools get dropped.
Because voice commands fail.
Because fear doesn’t follow instructions.
And because protection should work—even when you can’t.
⸻
The opportunity:
Each year, more than 25 million personal safety devices are sold—yet most rely on handheld activation. That leaves millions of people without a true solution if they freeze, panic, or are physically restrained.
This device fills that gap.
It’s adaptable, affordable, and built with instinct in mind.
If this mission speaks to you—whether you’ve ever felt vulnerable, or just want a safer world for someone you love—I’d be honored to have your support.

The Campaign FAQs
Q: What exactly is this product?
A: It’s a hands-free, wearable personal safety alarm designed to activate automatically in moments of physical danger. It’s discreet, intuitive, and meant to help people who may freeze, panic, or be unable to reach for traditional tools.
Q: What will the funds be used for?
A: Funds will go directly toward prototyping, early testing, and basic development costs—including materials, engineering support, and small-scale manufacturing for real-world evaluation.
Q: Is this product already on the market?
A: Not yet! I’ve filed a provisional patent and I’m currently in the development phase, working with an engineer to bring the first version to life.
Q: Is this campaign safe to support if the product isn’t finished?
A: Yes. Your support helps fund the critical next step: building and testing the working prototype. It brings this vision closer to reality and helps create safer options for more people.
Q: Who is this for?
A: Everyone. While it’s especially helpful for people who freeze or can’t react quickly, it’s designed to benefit anyone who wants a proactive line of defense during vulnerable moments.
