PROBLEM #2: Many seasoned parents - especially moms - are looking for extra income. However, there is just no easy way to monetize their valuable parenting expertise. Most affiliate marketing programs are confusing, time-consuming or require a certain # of followers - making it exceedingly difficult and pretty much impossible for the average mom to participate and successfully earn money.

With this program, we help new & expectant confidently choose the right gear for their families through an online lifestyle quiz and by matching them with trusted mom mentors - called Gugu Guides. New & expectant parents benefit from the personalized advice of their seasoned peers, while our Gugu Guides can monetize the advice they're giving through affiliate commissions and brand partnerships.
A Sense of Urgency: Moms Need Income More Than Ever
Recently, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic uncovered a critical need to lift up an untapped powerhouse - moms. According to census.gov, last spring, between March and April 2020, some 3.5 million mothers living with school-age children left active work — either shifting into paid or unpaid leave, losing their job, or exiting the labor market all together. Almost 1-in-2 (45%) mothers of school-age children were not actively working last April.
We want to empower the millions of moms displaced by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as moms who choose to stay at home to raise their children by offering them a way to monetize their expertise.
Funding: We plan to use the funding for three areas: building the marketplace and technology, getting the right people in place to oversee all the moving pieces and, lastly, get the word out to the world that this program exists.
