Project Description
My mission is to provide low-SES students with quality early childhood eduation. Trinity Kids Learning Academy (T.K.L.A) provide experiences that promote literacy, technology, and a true love for Jesus Christ. TKLA seeks to enrich the intellect while also enhancing social and emotional growth.
After working directly in early education for over 13 years, I saw a need for developing skills that not only will help students academically but develop self esteem. Many children enter into the public school system with literacy deficits which make it harder to close the gap. TKLA wants to offer quality education to families who might not be able to afford private eduacation.
According to educational market data researcher and publisher Population and Survey Analysts (P.A.S.A.), the "Cy-Fair" I.S.D. is expected to add about 6,000 new students to EE-5th Grade populations through 2030. For all students, by Fall 2024, Cypress Fairbanks I.S.D. is projected for enrollement of 120, 361 students, and by the Fall of 2029, a total of 122, 328 students. The opportunity to educate preschool students before they enter kindergaten is growing.
Our goal is to serve the community at T.K.L.A. Providing solutions to closing the gap from early childhood education to kindergarten. The owner/director, Marcy McDowell will utilize her experience as a Early Chilhood Educator and Primary Instructional Specialist in the local school district to build a strong foundation for literacy, emotional, and social development. Highly trained and qualified teachers will lead student's to academic success. At T.K.L.A. students will grow in wisdom and faith.
Trinity Kids Learning Academy is seeking funding for building a safe, secure, and loving environment for our students. Funds will be used to hire high quality staff, provide quality accredited curriculum, and stabilize the learning environment. Funds will also be used to purchase transportation for our school age children as well as trips throughout the community for students.
Our team consists of myself, Marcy McDowell as the owner/director. Jessica Bullard serves as T.K.L.A. accountant. We are in search of an Administrative Assistant to assist with tours, enrollment, and day to day opeerations.
