ABOUT US:

The Golden Dancerettes LLC was founded in 2016 by two young, ambitious directors, Keanna Henry and Shania Farmer, who were only 17 years old at the time. The team is a youth competitive dance group located in Queens, New York, and is dedicated to serving young dancers aged 4 to 17. Keanna and Shania had always dreamed of pursuing dance as a career, and they were determined to create a platform that would enable them to fulfill their dream while helping others in their community to pursue theirs. In 2021, The Golden Dancerettes achieved a significant milestone by opening their very own dance studio, which is a testament to their hard work and commitment to excellence. Previously, they had held classes in various locations, including party halls, schools, churches, and even a local park. The new dance home provides a perfect environment for their students to learn and grow in their craft, and the team is confident that it will further enhance their abilities and performance. To celebrate this milestone, they held a grand opening ceremony to showcase their new home to their students and families.

At House of Gold Dance Academy, we are passionate about providing quality visual and performing arts education to the community through accessible educational programs. We strongly believe in the transformative power of dance, which can help troubled youths with behavioral and mental problems, while also promoting their physical, social, and professional development. Our mission is to inspire and encourage every young dancer to push beyond their limits and achieve their full potential. We believe that hard work and dedication are essential ingredients for success, and we strive to instill these values in our students. By teaching them challenging skills and techniques, we help them build the confidence and self-esteem they need to succeed in all aspects of life. At House of Gold Dance Academy, we are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where our students can learn and grow, both as dancers and as individuals. We believe that every child deserves the chance to explore their creativity and express themselves through the arts.

SOLUTION:

At House of Gold Dance Academy, we are dedicated to providing innovative and effective dance platforms that cater specifically to school-age children. Our programs are designed to promote positive mentorship while offering holistic benefits to our participants. We take great care to provide physically and emotionally safe environments where dancers can learn and grow while alleviating stress. Our exciting choreography is carefully crafted to strengthen our students' physical abilities while also fostering their creativity and self-expression. In addition to our dance programs, we also offer exposure to professional performances that immerse our students in the vast world of entertainment and arts. Our aim is to support each dancer in gaining self-confidence, improving body image, bettering social skills, increasing muscular strength, improving aerobic fitness, managing weight, and enhancing general well-being and psychological well-being. Moreover, House of Gold Dance Academy promotes positive social activity, positive peer relationships, improved family relationships, and community building. We believe that the arts have the power to bring people together and create a sense of community, and we strive to foster these values in all of our programs. Our ultimate goal is to help our students become confident and well-rounded individuals who are equipped with the skills they need to succeed in all aspects of their lives.
