Who Is On Our Team

FX Media Group, Inc. is led by Tachelle Shamash Wilkes, a visionary filmmaker, writer, and media professional with over 15 years of experience in media, education, and entertainment.

Few independent filmmakers get the kind of behind-the-scenes access that Tachelle has had. As a set teacher on major productions such as The Greatest Showman, Manifest, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Blacklist, Orange is the New Black, and Power Book III: Raising Kanan, she has worked closely with Hollywood’s top writers, directors, and producers, learning the art of storytelling at the highest level.

This rare experience has allowed her to absorb the techniques of industry giants and apply them to her own bold, thought-provoking content. With FX Media Group, Inc., she is bringing this exclusive Hollywood knowledge to fresh, original projects that push creative and cultural boundaries.

As an award-winning writer, Tachelle has been featured in Vibe, Yahoo, One World, and garnered the attention of O Magazine. She founded Femmixx.com, an online magazine and movement celebrating women in music, and directed/executive produced Lady Beat Makers Vol. 1, a documentary on female urban music producers, earning her an Impact of Women in Hip Hop Award alongside MC Lyte and Roxanne Shante.

Her background in film, literature, and cultural innovation makes FX Media Group, Inc. a powerhouse for storytelling that challenges perception, expands creative opportunities, and drives cultural impact.
