Project Description
- The mission of our company is to Mentor and Groom minority girls from the inner city to enter into STEAM careers. Through hands on activities and mentors, we will move the needle to increase the number of black and brown girls entering the spaces of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Our STEAM kits are a crucial part in building the confidence of girls to form ideas and problem solve around all avenues of STEAM. We are seeking investors to help us push the envelope for girls ages 11-18.
- Funding will be used to provide exploratory kits and services to local centers and communities to help expand access to inner city girls. The Angels N Tech team consist of Tarenia Carthan and Angela Chambliss who are thought leaders in STEAM creating opportunities for more girls of color in the metro Atlanta Area.
