The Campaign FAQs
- Who are we?
We are three young students, Alice Vedovi from Italy, Jovana Marjanovic from Serbia and Nidhi Raj from India, studying at the University of Torino.
What specific outcomes do you hope to achieve through your films?
- We aim to raise awareness about health, women's rights, and the environment, provoke meaningful discussions, and inspire tangible action among viewers, both locally and globally.
How did the idea of attending the International Youth Media Summit in Zanzibar come about?
- We learned about the International Youth Media Summit through our university network and saw it as a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with other young filmmakers from around the world and amplify our impact on a global scale.
What backgrounds or experiences do you bring to the project?
- We each bring unique perspectives and skills to the project. Alice is an experienced activist working on and volunteering for social and health projects in Sudan and India. Nidhi has a background in film production, having made several short films and short documentaries. And Jovana brings expertise in communication, international cooperation and advocating for gender issues and is a part of a international Dialogue Academy for Young Women alumni network supported by the OSCE.
