Flourish Fund empowers pregnant women to take control of their family’s wellness through education, wellness-tracking and evidence-based goods and services during and after pregnancy. Our digital platform is a baby registry that allows friends and family to contribute to expert-curated products and wellness services.

Problem & Impact

There are approximately 4 million babies born every year in the US. Maternal and Baby Care (non-medical) spending is at an all-time high of $14 billion yet we have the highest mortality rate of any industrialized country.  Our mission is to fill the gap in maternal healthcare and make wellness accessible to all families.

Flourish Fund was inspired by my own pregnancy and postpartum journeys with both my two boys. Being pregnant and delivering my two beautiful babies were the most amazing experiences, but the process took a toll on my body. I wasn’t prepared for all the emotional, hormonal, physical, and mental changes. There were few resources to help me adjust to motherhood and heal my body. Through research, I quickly realized that I wasn't alone. Every mother I spoke with had their own challenges and also did not know where to turn. Other countries provide more support and care for new and expecting moms than the United States. Studies show that taking care of mothers results in healthier babies, families, and communities.

Our Solution

To solve this complex problem, we developed the only baby registry that puts family wellness first! Our vetted, evidence-based network of maternal health providers offer top-rated support, experiences, and education to our community of mothers. We also offer curated bundles of baby/mom essentials and services to support pregnancy to the postpartum period. Expecting families have the flexibility to book any of our vetted services and educational classes with their funds through our maternal wellness marketplace with over 156 experts, including doulas, lactation counselors, yoga instructors, childbirth educators, sleep consultants, meal delivery and more.
