I am Heather Marie Petersen, the founder of The Femme Farm, a magical retreat and event center in Glencoe, Minnesota, dedicated to celebrating and honoring feminine energy and healing. Our 20-acre hobby farm serves as a sanctuary for individuals to rediscover their inner strength and connect deeply with themselves.

Project Vision:

Our vision is to transform an existing structure on our property into The Empowerment Center, a dynamic space designed to support businesses, individual entrepreneurs, non-profits, and community members in a variety of empowering activities.

Current Needs:

To bring this vision to life, we need to upgrade the facility to meet building codes and to ensure it is a safe, welcoming, and versatile environment. The proposed renovations include:

• Installing durable flooring suitable for a wide range of activities.
• Adding heating and cooling systems to make the space comfortable year-round.
• Replacing doors to ensure security and accessibility.

Community Impact:

Once renovated, The Empowerment Center will accommodate up to 100 people and offer a versatile venue for:

• Yoga and wellness retreats, including popular trends like goat yoga.
• Space for non-profits and community meetups.
• A co-working space tailored to foster collaboration and innovation.
• Venues for art fairs, craft fairs, and vendor fairs.
• A serene environment for meditation retreats and dance studios.
• Facilities to host weddings, music events, and much more.

Several local businesses and spiritual entrepreneurs have expressed keen interest in utilizing the space for activities that align with our mission of empowerment and healing.

Fundraising Goal:
