Crafted Charm is an event planning and design company that also offers decor rentals.  It is a one-stop-shop for events. As the curator of an event, it is important to remember that an event is an experience. It’s a vision coming to life and should be an extension of those involved and a reflection of the distinctive personalities. It is my passion to help create these aw-inspiring, special moments by making personal connections with clients. Planning, designing, and decorating an event is truly an art where every detail matters. At Crafted Charm, we are unique because we believe in getting to KNOW our clients.

 

Most event planning companies do not have a background in design or offer decor rentals.  I build and create my own rentals and décor, on-site.  I use wood-working, welding and floral design skills.  I am a Master Certified Wedding Planner, Certified Designer, and have an MAT in Art and Design from The School of Visual Arts in NYC.

 

I have created a business platform that makes planning, designing, and event decor services more affordable by offering everything in-house.  I would like to expand my business and hire assistant planners and designers so that I can take on more events and clients.  I would like to hire craftsman and assistants to help with the creation and building of rentals, as well as set-up and tear-down services for events.  My goal is for Crafted Charm to be an all-female team.

 

I have a 30’x40’ workshop where I can not only create and craft arbors, backdrops and farm tables, but a space to house these rentals as well.  I have also created a design center where I can meet with clients and store all of the small décor rentals, including vases, lanterns, candle holders, florals, swags, greenery garland, etc.  I would like to expand these buildings.

 

Local event companies only offer large items such as tents, tables, chairs and linens, leaving clients to have to purchase all of the small décor themselves.  I am wanting to expand my business by offering small tablespace and event décor for every style, theme and color palette.  Renting versus purchasing, is a fraction of the cost for clients and spares them the burden of researching, purchasing and reselling event decor.  There is a gap in this market and I would like to offer this service and make it available to consumers.
