Confident public speaking can provide people with new opportunities such as a promotion, a new career, acing that job interview, Ms. Hail shares with us.
This novel, fast, easy and affordable way of learning is being introduced with flexible times and fees. The student can use her online calendar to choose a time slot at their convenience ( Eastern standard time). A unique aspect is that a student can enroll in the seven classes or choose one class at a time. The beauty is that every class is one to one experience with her.
The market for this unique service is global. It is estimated that seven million people have a fear of public speaking. There are so many opportunities for her to have student/ clients. However it is important to focus on the markets where she has contacts established. These markets are specific websites such as ALIGNABLE, LINKEDIN, 40 million, social media, her podcast, the local chambers and 1 Million cups. 1 Million cups is an "incubator" type of entrepreneur venue.
The online course solves the issue of the fear of public speaking with providing a unique process that allows the student /client the opportunity to discuss the fear. The techniques that she uses teaches them ways to manage fear.. Thus the series is called "It's all in Your Mind. (which is copyrighted. ) The lessons will evolve from a beginning level to a technical presentation. Each class begins with the student presenting their specific speech, then her evaluation with positive remarks. "My video is also shown for that lesson which explains the example of that lessons specific type of presentation. For instance, I recorded a funny presentation for the lesson that is humorous, storytelling or a tall tale. We conclude the class with videos of other great speeches from people who are known for speaking well."
My team is myself at this stage of creating the mini courses. I have a graphic person on retainer and she helps with the new Kajabi website. I have worked with her for twenty years. She did all the design for Le Petit Chateau inn website. I consider the people who I take courses from as team members also! This would include Julie Hood of Course Creators, Kajabi team, a mini course platform and PB designs who will eventually design my website in conjunction with me and my graphics designer.
At this time, I am doing all the design work myself. I need to spend time marketing the courses instead!
I am seeking funding of $6387.00 because I desire to have these courses be polished and professional. I still need to take classes for CourseCreators, Pinterest, Zoom and YouTube's new shorts. I need appropriate equipment for recording as I still don’t have a microphone for my podcast ! Most of the courses that I need to improve my professional deliverance are priced from $997- $1500. I have spent thousands already and have depleted my resources. I need to buy sound cancelling equipment for my new space. I’m moving to a condo that has a huge walk-in closet. I’m going to sound proof it with some of these funds.
This funding will change my life. I had two careers before the Pandemic. One as a French wine expert in New York for twenty three years. I also renovated a circa 1900 Farmhouse into a French themed inn, Le Petit Chateau inn, located in Hyde Park, Hudson Valley, NY. The pandemic decimated both careers.
I am virtually starting over from ground zero. This funding will not only provide me with some breathing room until cash flow is steady, but it serves millions of people where I can improve their lives by taking my mini courses, Fear of Public Speaking. My company will eventually hire a virtual assistant to help track new student/clients to track payments, new enrollees, payments, referrals and student progress.
I have big dreams for my company and see the series "It's all in Your Mind" becoming an international success by next year, 2024.

How much time before the project goes live?
A: The project is live. I have been testing it with friends and colleagues through texting and my emails.
What will you do if you don't receive the funding?
A. I will never, never , never give up!
Have you experience in other entrepreneur adventures?
A. Yes. Most recently, I bought forty acres and three houses in 2001. The circa 1900 Farmhouse was renovated into a small luxury inn, called Le Petit Chateau inn in 2005. Closed in 2020 due to the Pandemic. It was very successful as it became a destination being one half mile from the Culinary Institute of America. It was also highly successful because I am a marketing maven.
The average room rate was $250 which included the student chefs from the Culinary Institute in Hyde Park, prepare a local organic, vegetarian farm breakfast. We also offered private chef lunches and dinners. Price range $225 - $390 a couple. All local products from the nearby farms. These were held in the privacy of the kitchen. They were hugely popular. The inn became a destination travel site due to my ideas and marketing.
What kind of marketing will you conduct?
A. I am a marketing maven. I use several "under utilized" venues such as Alignable, 40 Billion. I write and distribute my own press release. All social media..eventually Pinterest will market the online mini courses. I need to take a class in it..
Also my podcast which has over 6000 unique downloads ever week, will feature the classes.
