Every Child Deserves A Chance!

Ignite the Senses Children's Gym is more than just a play space—it's a sanctuary of inclusion, growth, and joy for children of all abilities. Our mission is to create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive, especially those with sensory processing disorders, autism, and other special needs.

• We offer a clean, safe and inclusive indoor sensory gym.  We provide additional opportunities to parents for art, music, fitness, and educational enrichment for the youth in our community.  Many children learn better in an active environment.  We added a pre-k 1/2 day program because of an additional need in the community. 

• My market demographic is 85% targeted to families, specifically, households with children in the 1 – 16 year-old age group in the Beaufort County and surrounding areas/states.  The other 15% targeted to therapist, schools, and tourists in the Beaufort County and surrounding areas.

• We are a sensory gym that offers many opportunities to families.  Fast, high-growing community are in heavy demand in the area.  Every day thousands of parents are looking for places to take their children that are convenient, affordable, clean and safe. For all of that demand, though, there are only a handful of places in the area, and none of them specialize in special needs and family oriented.  Even neighboring counties and states do not have this opportunity.   We are looking to expand and provide for even more of our children.  With a larger facility we can hire staff to open up our offerings including more art, music and yoga classes and a bigger pre-k program.  Be able to accommodate larger field trips through the school district and provide respite services which are practically nonexistent in the area.  Over the last few years we have heard from many parents that have said that we need more places like this around.  Children need somewhere to run off energy and we provide that.  Right now we see mostly children 1-6 years old and are missing a whole group of children 7-16 that can benefit too and with a new, bigger facility we would be able to include all of them from 1-16 years old.  We also want to employ special needs teens and adults so, they can feel that they are contributing to society but, will also benefit from the equipment and an accepting environment.

• We are going to use the funds to acquire a new building, a new allergen free facility big enough to accommodate children 1-16 years old with rooms for art, music, support groups, parties and our pre-k program.  We will also add some more specialized equipment.  Finally we will be using the funds to add trained staff.   

• Team consists of: Kimberley Reardon - Owner and Founder ( 30 years of experience in the area of Early Childhood/Medical Assistant/Certified Professional Coder, TESOL Certificate ). A mother of a special needs 12 year old boy with Autism spectrum disorder.  Stephanie Griffin - Manager ( 25 years of experience in the area of RN ) Mother of three grown kids, 6 years experience working with kids, marketing and planning, launched her own online jewelry store and children's learning store.  Jacqueline Reardon - CPA (40 years of experience).  We will be adding to our team - Art Teacher, Music Teacher and a Special needs Teacher.
