Help us change an industry
It doesn’t matter if you’re an architect, a barista, or an educator—you need a scent that’s as stylish and hard-working as you. & wouldn't it be awesome to know that a Black, American, Woman created it?
Here's the problem
For centuries the fragrance industry has been dominated by large perfumery houses ran by White, European males.
It is our mission to help solve the lack of representation of Black fragrances on the market & in your favorite retailers. It is no secret that the Black consumer's annual spending power exceeds $1.3 trillion. In 2017 alone, Black consumers spent $151 million on perfumes, accounting for 22% of the total fragrance marketing in the US at that time (Neilson). Yet, despite strong interest and buying power from Black consumers in fragrance, Black perfumers remain underrepresented and excluded in many respects.
Who We Are
Jadelurose, a black woman owned fragrance brand, offers luxury small batch fragrances that empower all to explore their sensuality & sexuality through scent. Jadelurose sets to empower people to explore their sensuality & sexuality through scent. We also provide sex positive education & community through the olfactory perspective. We give back to our community by raising awareness & charity for various health, sex, & LGBT related movements. We seek to debunk stigma related to sex, sensuality, & sexuality.

Why we need your help
We have nailed our scent profile with 3 signature fragrances, and now we’re going to move forward with finalizing our packaging, bottle design, and shipping in preparation to launch.
Your support will help the production of bottles, and help meet the minimums required to create & package fragrances. Currently Jadelurose is manufactured in-house meaning we hand make everything, we pour everything, we label everything and we pack and ship all of our orders. We are raising money to purchase much needed equipment to manufacture our perfumes in-house. Equipment is needed so that we can ramp up our production time.
We are up against large brands with extremely large budgets who are able to purchase thousand of bottles & packaging at a time. This will not stop our desire to source luxury materials in order to provide quality to all.
