I’m Katy Pitt, a registered nurse and the founder of The Women’s Health Clinic.
After working with thousands of women across clinics in the UK and Spain, I saw the same story again and again — women struggling silently through menopause, mental health challenges, and hormonal health issues without the right support.
These stories were heartbreaking. Women were being dismissed, misdiagnosed, or simply left to cope on their own.
That’s why we’re creating EmpowerHer — a digital health platform designed by women, for women.

❓ Where will the funds go?
Funds will be used to:
Build the first version of the EmpowerHer platform (web and mobile). The usecase is develpoed and paid by The Womens Health Clinic
Create clinically reviewed content
Develop community moderation features
Run real-world testing with a group of early users

EmpowerHer is being developed by The Women’s Health Clinic Ltd, led by Katy Pitt, a registered nurse and women’s health advocate, and her team of clinicians, digital health experts, and patient champions.
❓ Is this platform only for menopause?
We are starting with menopause because the need is urgent and underserved. However, EmpowerHer is designed to expand — supporting women through fertility, postnatal recovery, hormonal mental health, and general wellbeing over time.
