Meet the Founders: Amanda Strong and Kelly Anderson

I’m Amanda, and alongside my partner Kelly Anderson, we lead Beach Bum Buggies with a shared commitment to sustainability and community. With over seven years as an executive officer and advisor for a prominent accounting firm, I bring a wealth of experience in financial management and strategic planning to our venture. Kelly, a United States Navy veteran with experience in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, has served over a decade in various roles, including her recent work with various government agencies overseeing hazard mitigation projects and promoting community resilience.

Kelly’s military experience, combined with her background in hazard mitigation and climate resilience, has shaped our approach at Beach Bum Buggies. Her advocacy for green energy and low carbon footprints ensures that every decision we make aligns with our commitment to environmental stewardship and innovation in sustainable tourism.
