What is Doux Drop?

Doux Drop is a Natural Silk Sericin Thread Ball made from simple ingredients that transforms into a nourishing overnight serum with maximum hydrating powers. 

Why is Doux Drop good for my skin?

Doux Drop contains many beneficial ingredients, including silk sericin. Silk sericin is best known for its antibacterial, UV resistant, oxidative resistant and moisturizing properties.

How does it work?

The silk sericin thread ball, created through a Japanese bio-dissolving process, is 100% dissolved in water. When applied to the face and neck, it creates a maxi-hydration barrier that helps the skin retain its natural moisture and allows the nourishing ingredients to easily absorb. 

How do you open the bottle?

• Locate the arrows on the aluminum foil seal at the top of the bottle. 
• Pull up at the arrows and peel back the foil until it splits in two, then gently remove from the top of the bottle. You may have to give it a small twist at the end to get the foil to split.
• The lower layer silicone cap can be used to cover the serum while being stored in the fridge.

Help! There's no serum in my bottle, just a bit of cotton.

Yes! That is the Doux Drop silk sericin thread ball and that is the way it is supposed to arrive. It is in this form to preserve the integrity of the sericin and other ingredients. You will add a liquid to make it into your overnight serum. 

Liquids we suggest you use are:

• Purified water
• Micellar water
• Hyaluronic acid
• Rose water

How much liquid should I put in?

Enough liquid to go about 1/2 way up the bottle. This is equal to about 4ml.

How do I use it?  

• Prep your Doux Drop overnight serum according to the instructions above (“How Do You Open The Bottle?”) using either purified water, micellar water, rose water or hyaluronic acid to break down your thread ball and make the liquid serum.
• Thoroughly cleanse and tone your face and neck; allow skin to dry.
• Using your dropper or a steady hand, pour about 1/4 of the serum (1 ml or about 1 dropper full) onto your palm.
• Distribute evenly over face and neck.
• Do not add any additional products. Leave on till morning.
• Store the open and unused product in a cool, dry area and repeat nightly until the bottle is empty.
• Use the liquid serum within a week of opening. 
• One bottle = 4 applications.

How often should I use it?  

You can use Doux Drop as often as you like. We suggest you use one bottle every other week for maintenance, but you can use Doux Drop every day if desired.
