Denymarie Beauty is natural skincare company formulated to cater to the unique, and often neglected, skincare needs of people of color. Leaving them with hydrated, healthy, and glowing skin.

Here's the problem: Skincare is not one size fits all, but the current skincare market treats it as such, especially in the case of developing formulas and products that cater to people of color.

1. People of color face additional and/or more complex skincare issues than their fairer counterparts.

2. Many skincare products contain toxic chemicals and additives that are harsh on skin.

3. While cosmetics, including skincare, are consumed by individuals of all races and ethnicities, people of color, especially Black and Hispanic are the most passionate consumers. They've been grossly underserved and underserved by and within the cosmetics industry throughout history. 

Denymarie Beauty solves this problem by providing a solution that:

1. Provides skincare products that are specifically formulated to address more complex skincare issues such as post-inflammatory scarring, hyperpigmentation, and dark marks, increased oil production/sebum content, and uneven skin tone.

2. In utilizing raw and naturally sourced ingredients, I have created a skincare line that is one-hundred percent natural, cruelty-free, eco-conscious, , and free of sulfates or additives. All while maintain low prices without forfeiting the quality of our ingredients and subsequent products.

3. I want to increase the representation of minorities, especially Black woman, within the cosmetics industry by founding a skincare line crafted by a Black woman with the skincare needs of people of color in mind. 

Denymarie Beauty is natural skincare made with melanin in mind, but to be enjoyed by all. As the most passionate of cosmetic consumers, Black and Hispanic individuals, more specifically Black women spend twice as much on skincare than their non-Black counterparts and account for $7.5 billion spent annually on beauty products alone.

I have been formally working within the beauty and cosmetics industry for three years as a freelance makeup artist. However, my knowledge of skincare and passion for beauty began 12 years ago as I served as a makeup artist for a local theater and developed overtime as I went through my own "skin-discovery." So, I also understand from the customer's point of view how frustrating it is to only ever find commercial or artisanal skincare products that don't suit your needs. Because of my domain expertise and my customer experiences, I am uniquely qualified to help solve this problem for consumers.
