Project Description
Dee's Discounts is a retail discount store selling all of your favorite items from clothing, household items, skin care, hair products and more. Dee's Discounts also looks forward to supporting other black owned and small businesses by partnering
with them to place their products inside of Dee's Discounts, giving them the opportunity to scale and grow their business as well. The goal for the company is to scale into a retail big box store but not only that bringing Dee's Discounts to other
neighborhoods throughout Chicago would create convince for those living in the area as well as creating jobs for the community. Helping with Funding Dee’s Discounts would not only help with the cost of inventory, marketing etc. also help with hiring employees. The owner of Dee’s Discounts is really big on giving back to her community and creating jobs for the youth would give them the opportunity to learn work related skills as well as keeping them out the streets and out of trouble. With Dee's Discounts being a new business currently I (The owner) Own and Operate the entire business, which is part of the reason I'm seeking funding to bring other like minded people on board with Dee's Discounts. In conclusion I would like to thank every individual that donated and supports my brand it’s truly appreciated.

- Dee’s Discounts started as a side hustle in the middle of the pandemic. It was just something to do to make money to provide for my two children. Once I seen the potential of my brand I knew I could take Dee’s Discounts to another level.

-Yes, with the help of the funding from I Fund Women, I do plan on hiring people as well as creating summer jobs for the youth.
- Where do you see your company within the next year or two?
-I see Dee’s Discounts being a successful black owned business with multiple stores throughout the Chicagoland area. Yes, Dee’s Discounts started off as a side hustle but in all honesty it’s bigger then me. I see Dee’s Discounts being a big box retail store and being able to create jobs and change people lives.
