Project Description
- Our mission is to bring plant-based food to our community, and mentor kids aging out of foster care on soft skills that can be used in any field.
- Our town has no restaurants like ours, and foster kids are an underserved part of our community. These are two problems that we hope to solve!
- Our market is Pueblo, CO and the surrounding areas. With a population of 150,000 and growing, we feel this is a very viable market.
- By offering scratch-made plant-based cuisine, we're offering quick and healthier options than what is here. By mentoring foster kids, we're giving them experience and skills that will serve them well anywhere they go on life.
- We're seeking funding for the remaining startup costs that we have. Ordering product is the main hurdle we need to clear.
- Our team is me (Jennifer), my husband, and our GM Rachel. We're interviewing potential mentees next week!
It takes a lot of people to make a difference, and we are forever grateful for any and all support that we get!
