I couldn’t be more excited to bring Crush Cages to life, and I need your help to make it happen!

I’m Evelyn Ackley—wife, mom of three, and a lifelong baseball lover. Growing up in a Dominican household, baseball wasn’t just a game—it was part of our identity. I spent my childhood playing baseball, attending every one of my brother’s games, and watching every game on TV (Let’s Go Mets!⚾).

Now, with a seven year old  son who learned to hit a ball before he could walk and a husband who coaches two baseball teams here in Maricopa, our love for the game runs deep. But there’s one thing missing: a local, year-round space for athletes to train, grow, and build confidence.

That’s why I’m on a mission to build Maricopa’s first premier indoor baseball & softball training facility—a place where athletes of all ages can train with the best equipment, coaching, and technology without having to travel miles or suffer through the Arizona heat.

Why This Matters
If you’re a parent, player, or coach, you know how important consistent training is. The problem? Maricopa doesn’t have a single dedicated facility for high quality baseball or softball training. Right now, families are driving 20+ miles just to find a decent batting cage.

Kids who dream of playing at the next level? They’re at a disadvantage without the right resources. That’s where Crush Cages comes in.

We’re building a space where:
✔ Athletes & teams can train without long drives.
✔ Parents & coaches have a local resource for skill development.
✔ Weekend enthusiasts can refine their game in a climate-controlled facility.

Any contributions will go directly toward our startup expenses, including completing the facility buildout, purchasing essential equipment and training technology, and investing in the software needed to run Crush Cages efficiently. 

Why This is More Than Just Baseball & Softball
