Founded by Kimberly Coleman, a passionate baker and proud Black woman entrepreneur, The Crafted Crumb Bakery is more than a home bakery – it’s a testament to resilience, cultural heritage, and the magic of home-baked goodness.
About Us: At The Crafted Crumb Bakery, we specialize in artisanal breads, mouth-watering pastries, and custom cupcakes that bring joy to every occasion. Our recipes are a fusion of timeless family traditions and innovative flavors, made from the finest locally-sourced ingredients. Each creation is a labor of love, aimed at delivering happiness and creating unforgettable moments for our customers.
Our Vision: We envision The Crafted Crumb Bakery as a flourishing community hub that not only offers delectable baked goods but also inspires and empowers others. Our dream is to transition from a home bakery to a fully-equipped storefront, allowing us to serve a larger audience and create a space where everyone feels welcome.

Frequently Asked Questions:
- Do you have proper licensing? We currently operate under Ohio's cottage law. Licensing is not required for the type of baked goods we currently offer. We are however planning to increase the variety of products we offer when we expand into a retail space. At that time, we will need to acquire licensing.
- Do you sell to any retail locations? You can currently find some of my baked goods in a local coffeeshop, The Depot Coffeehouse in Urbana, Ohio.
