Project Description
I did not GirlBoss too close to the sun. A few years ago I had a brilliant idea to change the face of childcare and how we meet our family needs. Now I am ready to get my feet back under me and start all over again. I have learned so much from my failure and know exactly how to succeed this time around.
I need conspirators, members, mentors, and collaborators. Join me on a mission to solve the childcare conundrum of our time.
There were TWO times in history when our government was THIS CLOSE to subsidizing childcare. Both times were times when women were necessary for the functioning of our economy and war effort.
We are necessary for the functioning of the world for our safety and independence and we still don't have subsidized childcare. Now some of us in the sandwich generation are responsible for the care of not one but TWO generations:
Our aging parents and our children.
We can work together to not only subsidize it within our own pods but also create a community filling in the gaps the capitalist market and the government will not.
