Conrado
CONRADO is a sustainable womenswear brand focused on the use of deadstock fabrics. Conrado supports artisans in the Philippines.

Project Description

Conrado is made with a purpose to repurpose. Conrado is a sustainable womenswear brand dedicated to the use of only deadstock materials to eliminate the fashion industry's waste.
Conrado is ethically made in the Philippines. The Filipino artisans at our 40-year old family workshop have over 15-20 years of garment manufacturing experience. We help provide and keep their jobs in a country where the garment industry is at a decline.

- Describe the problem you are solving.
At Conrado, everyone is treated like family. We want to keep our friends, artisans, and customers' futures safe. We implement sustainable processes in our small batch production.

- Why are you seeking funding and how will you spend the funding and who is on your team?
Conrado is based in Massachusetts. All clothing is designed and sold by owner and one-woman team, Angela Sison. The production team in the Philippines consists of Anna, Romeo, Cecille, Recy, and Pearly.
We are seeking funding to scale our PR and marketing to reach different audiences through platforms like social media. We also seek funding for our overhead expenses to keep both workshops. We also dream of educating our customers with social and environmental awareness.
