Chaos2Calm is a vertically integrated residential services solution company. Our highly experienced team specializes in the organization and liquidation of client's estates. Whether they are downsizing, moving, or redecorating, our combined experience in retail, customer service, marketing, furniture, and jewelry puts our clients in a great position for a successful and profitable estate sale. We effectively and efficiently clean out your clutter, repurpose your belongings, organize your mess, categorize, label, and file. Chaos2Calm takes the burden of planning, staging, promoting, and running a successful estate sale off a client's shoulders. The estate sale and organizing branches of our business is a well-oiled machine, and I would like to concentrate on building our online auction presence.

We are looking to expand our business into the world of online auctions, which is a rapidly growing opportunity in the market. With online auctions, we have access to an expanded audience and bidding enthusiasm generated by the internet, which increases sale proceeds. Additionally, this format maintains the seller's privacy. Our clients, current and future, are asking for this type of sale and some prefer it over in person estate sales. I would like to move and grow in this expanding industry. However, I am seeking funding to expand my operations and be able to work in this field. 

The immediate expenses for the funding would be dedicated to securing a permanent warehouse in Connecticut in order to properly photograph and research each product for the client, so that we can get the best-selling price for them. With this expansion, I will need 2 full time employees to help with photographs, research, and all of the online auction posting that is required. My organizing and estate sale team consists of 3 single moms who have each been with me for over a year. They organize, set up for in-home sales, run the sales, and assist with any packing and wrapping that clients need for their moves. Additionally, I have a seasonal worker who creates spreadsheets for new clients, and researches their items. She is also assisting with any day-to-day website managing, social media posting, and any tech help needed. My crew occasionally consists of 2-4 men that assist with larger and heavier jobs for clients.

Once I receive funding for Chaos2Calm Home Editing's expansion, I will immediately hire at least one full time worker, and secure a warehouse facility to hold client's items while they are going through the auction process. What do you charge for your services?
To manage an estate sale or online auction, we typically charge 50% commission on all sale proceeds. There is an additional service charge for in home estate sales for the setting up of your home which includes bringing in tables, emptying cabinets, and staging the home. 

Do you only run in home estate sales, or do you run online auctions?
We do both. C2C loves in home estate sales, because we have the opportunity to meet a variety of people that learn all about our business and what we do. A great percentage of people we meet either recommend us to friends and family, or even become clients themselves. We are currently running online auctions, and are looking to expand our presence in order to generate an expanded bidding audience.
