Bright Smiles For A Bright Future

The mission of this project is to provide children in underserved areas direct access to high quality oral care.  The mission will also aim to create high quality child care centers, providing children in rural areas exceptional programs that will gear them for future success.

Statistic reveal that children in rural areas are most likely to end up in poverty due to a lack of interest in the primary stages of development. It is apparent that during these foundational years, it is crucial to instill as much high quality education as possible.  

Statistics also reveal that children in rural areas have very poor oral care due to lack of dental providers in their areas. There is a need to instill direct access to care to help improve the oral health status of children, who are now suffering from tooth decay, and various oral health issues. 

The market opportunity will be local to rural areas, expanding throughout the city of Orlando, with hopes to expand throughout the state of FL, and eventually nationwide. 

Opening up child care centers that will provide high quality education, with the aid of high quality teachers will help to create an increase in education within the rural area. Instilling school-based oral care within the center, through the use of licensed dental hygienist and mobile dentistry, will help to provide the children with access to oral care to increase their overall health. 

Funding assistance from this campaign will aid in opening up a child care center, including the expenses needed for staffing, proper zoning and complying with building codes, and also, will fund for the necessary equipment and materials needed to instill the stationary school-based oral care program within the center.
