The Brainery Experience

Every day children are falling behind in school and not reaching their academic potential. This failure can be caused by a lack of abilities or confidence and can lead to issues in school, in their community, and at home. Families often have limited resources and time to provide their children with the support they need to fill in these gaps. Which leads to questioning what they can do to make it better?  

• 1) My child is not progressing and grades are suffering in the standard school environment. 
• 2) My child has a learning disability and I need help supporting their academics.
• 3) My child is really smart but I see that they are getting frustrated by this course and I can't seem to help them.

The Brainery offers individual tutoring, group classes, and a homeschool tutoring program that focuses on strengthening and building academic skills and confidence at an affordable rate. Our tutors, or academic coaches, connect with the child at their level and increase their abilities by making learning fun and interactive.

• 1) We provide a homeschool tutoring program for families who choose education outside of the standard school setting.  
• 2) Our program is inclusive to students of diverse abilities and can accommodate students with learning and cognitive disabilities.
• 3) Our coaches are degreed professionals and are able to help with complex subject areas and present them in a way that increases understanding while reducing anxiety.

We are looking to raise $30,000 in order to provide scholarships, purchase programs, and increase marketing. Our first goal is to provide 4 scholarships to students in need, each scholarship will cover the full cost of 1 of our services (Individual Tutoring, Specialized tutoring, or Homeschool). Next, we will also use the funds to purchase programs that support our learning such as N2Y,  IXL, and Fishtank. Lastly, we are looking to work with a marketer to help us reach more families.

 The Brainery was founded by 2 educators with over 25 years of educational experience. We took our passion for education and created a program that promotes academic success and confidence. We understand that all children are capable of learning and that schools have limitations that will require students to access supplemental support. Using our knowledge and working with industry professionals we have created a program and system that promotes academic growth and confidence.

Starting out has been a steady success, we have worked with students and have shown growth during COVID. We are now looking to expand our reach and help more students reach their academic potential.
