Body by Love Mission 

Body by Love designs products that build confidence in plus size women empowering them to live a beautiful life. We offer an assortment of accessories, clothing and in Spring 2023 we are expanding into the bath leisure space with our new line of bath towels.  

Camille's Founder Story 

 I have been plus size for as long as I can remember.  Once a friend went shopping with me and she mentioned how "emotionally drained"  she felt as she watched me go from store to store where very few items fit. After graduating college I made it my mission to fill this gap by working for fashion companies, later starting the first mobile and plus size pop up shop in the United States - Pop Up Plus.  Now focused intensely on design, I became more keenly aware of the lack of consideration for plus size bodies in most elements of design. After one particularly long day, I took a bath with the intention to have a full self care day. I wanted to open my windows, bask in the sun and fresh air and daintily dance around the house. On this same day I also realized my bath towel didn't quite fully wrap around me enough for my dainty dance! Suddenly it hit me  - I had been buying these same towels for years - towels that didn't fit. Like so many plus size consumers I had been settling blindly for whatever options were provided. It became clear that size inclusivity was a challenge for product designs beyond clothes. Design innovation has now become deeply personal to me and even more important as I delve into the intimate bath space where we find rejuvenation and renewal.

_Towels 

 The Standard size bath towel is created up to 58 inches long and designed to fit up to a size 12.  Some plus size women have adapted beach towels as an alternative - beach towels may have the fit but not the luxurious feel. It's incredible that in the $11Bbath towel market, there are so few options for plus size consumers.

  After 15 years in the fashion industry I often felt unheard when raising the issue of the inclusion of plus size bodies. I decided it was better to chart my own path and in my newest endeavor, as the founder of Body by Love, I continue to fight for size inclusion on my own terms.
