We're seeking $50,000 in crowdfunding to align our production with our values of cultural respect and global responsibility. This initiative will allow us to:    

• Research and source sustainable, eco-friendly materials for our products and activity kits 
• Redesign our packaging to be fully recyclable or biodegradable 
• Implement new production processes to incorporate these eco-friendly materials

About the Founder

My name is Mai, and Bo & Mei emerged from my personal journey as a global human rights advocate and a mother searching for way to bridge my global outlook with my new role as a parent. For nearly 20 years, I have dedicated my career to non-profit leadership, championing human rights and democracy worldwide. Becoming a mother to my two daughters, Bo and Mei, shifted my perspective, revealing that transformative impact could come within our own homes and hearts. 

Growing up as a child of Vietnamese immigrants, I often felt disconnected from my heritage. Now, as a parent, I'm committed to ensuring my daughters and children everywhere grow up with a strong sense of cultural pride and compassion for others. This desire to bridge the gap between global awareness and personal heritage led me to create Bo & Mei. Our cultural art kits are a labor of love, designed to help families like mine celebrate their roots in creative ways, fostering a deeper understanding of our diverse world and our shared humanity.
