Project Description
- Mission of this project is to acquire a business level printer with the capability to print white gloss BOPP , Color Label Printer prints full-color, photo-quality images and bar codes on highly water-resistant and scratch-resistant labels. As well as label paper,software, and ink.
- Acquiring this printer will resolve the issue most starter bath and body product businesses have, which is finding a label solution that will create high -resolution, water resistance, and oil resistance label at minimal cost.
- I craft Bath and body products that mainly uses natural oils and liquids and past purchases to customize labels via other companies have proven costly. For a bulk order of customize 100 labels, various sizes & product type it costs almost a 500 dollars. When researching owning our own printer will greatly reduce that bill to approx 150 dollars.
- As a start up there are plenty requirements needing funding and a hand up will help us grow our profit and reduce our costs. Owning a printer that can do custom prints ill give us the flexibility to create the multiple product labels, and redirect some funds toward other initiatives, i.e. advertisement, website, vendor fees, etc.
- My team is a small family business. It consist of the three amigos. My husband who is the muscles, the label maker, website manager. My daughter who is my media content maker, my booth partner, and inventory manager. & myself , financial manager, business coordinator, product design and maker.

What are you using currently? What issues/obstacles have you met with the current material?
I am using a basic jet printer. Even the oil resistance, water resistance isnt BOPP high gloss specific so it smudges.
