TRANSFORMING THE WAY WE HEAL INDIVIDUALLY AND AS A COLLECTIVE.
Black Girls Can Heal Inc. is a holistic healing collective that aims to deconstruct trauma by boldly and unapologetically creating safe spaces for young black girls and women to heal through accountability, transparency, storytelling, vulnerability, and compassion.
WHO WE ARE:
I started Black Girls Can Heal Inc. because there simply aren’t enough spaces that present trauma-informed care, tools, and resources in a way that feels accessible, relatable, and relevant to young Black Girls and Women. Black women deserve to have spaces where they feel seen and heard. Black Women deserve safe spaces where they can unwind, unlearn, and disconnect from societal pressures, psychological traumas, and systematic racism.
Since 2019, our team of licensed mental health professionals and holistic healers has helped hundreds of women acknowledge, process, and begin the journey towards healing trauma. We’ve provided women with practical tools and resources that can be integrated into various areas of their lives.
Our mission & Our Vision
We aim to help Black Women deconstruct trauma and deepen the relationship that they have with themselves and others. We do this by focusing on outlining factors that play a role in disrupting healing, such as racism, generational trauma, social injustices, and lack of resources. Our primary goal is to create safe spaces where Black Women are seen, heard, and valued. These safe spaces will foster connections to self and others and provide relatable, affordable, and accessible trauma- informed resources to aide them as they address, process, and heal trauma.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Women and minority and woman owned businesses receive less in equity investments: minority-owned businesses receive on average less than half the equity investment that nonminority businesses receive (The Hamilton Project, 2015). This is why crowdfunding and your contributions are so crucial! Your support will allow us to continue providing free resources and safe spaces for Young Black Girls and Women to connect, heal, and build with one another.

Books can be used as a coping technique or be incorporated into your daily self-care regimen. Each Box includes
- 1 book by a Black author (Books vary in author and genre)
- 1 product by a Black Creative ( Products vary; T-shirt, Tote bag, Affirmation cards, bookmark, etc)
- 1 Journal and writing instrument
