Project Description
In only two years, Blacklanta has become a growing directory for black-owned businesses in Atlanta. Through our online directory we elevate the presence of black owners and their brands. We created this platform to circulate the black dollar back into the community.
The census report states that there are 25K+ black owned businesses in Atlanta. We started Blacklanta because there was a need for locating these businesses.
We've been diligent in our mission to bring awareness to local businesses online, but we have a better solution. We are now building a physical space to bring the directory to life.
BLACKLANTA is evolving into a "reimagined" convenience store called the Black Creators Convenience Store "BCCS". No, Blacklanta isn't going away, this is a physical extension!
Think of your typical convenience store + add some sauce + a great experience, that's where we come into play. The name says it all, we are bringing all products and services created by black people under one roof.
Entrepreneurs of all avenues want to play on a level field and it just isn’t that simple to get in a store when you’re a small but growing company. Here at the BCCS we want to have a location that welcomes a new trash bag company or skin care line that otherwise wouldn’t have the chance to get on crowded store shelves.
With the success of our growing directory, we are now looking to crowdfund $50,000 for the development of our first convenience store location. We are also always looking for businesses that would love to partner with us and bring value to the store through partnerships, ambassadorships, or having products in our store that will be just as excited about this as we are.
The Black Creators Convenience Store is set to be unlike anything else in Atlanta and we want you to come along with us on our journey. We hope that you will support our mission and share our story.

The Campaign FAQs
- What happens after I purchase my reward?
After your reward is purchased, you will receive a follow up email from us with a google form. This form will confirm the reward you purchased, shirt size (if applicable), shipping address, phone number and your name.
- When will I receive my reward?
Please refer to the reward you purchased. The date will be shown there.
- Will I receive a tracking number once my reward is shipped?
Yes! We will send you a tracking number via PayPal.
- When will I receive my virtual reward?
Please refer to the reward you purchased. All digital items will be sent to the email that you provide to us.
- I purchased the Social Media Strategy, what happens after purchase?
After your reward is purchased, you will receive a follow up email from our team with a google document attached. After this is filled out, we will reach out to you directly to schedule your session. Dates will vary.
