Bella Biochar: Food & Climate Challenge
Bella Biochar needs your support to fight world hunger and climate change!
Project Description
Bella Biochar Corporation is an Agtech/Climatech Natural Carbon Solution that is playing a fundamental role in both climate and food insecurity mitigation. As the only Canadian, commercial scale manufacturer of non-pyrolytic, Certified Organic biochar, produced from landfilled diverted waste wood, Bella Biochar is championing the Premium Biochar and the Carbon Dioxide Removal Global Markets. We are proudly the first Canadian corporation and the first Female Founded corporation in the world, to achieve PURO. Earth Carbon Removal & Credit Certification status. For every metric ton of Bella Biochar applied to soil for increased crop yield, reduced drought risk and improved biodiversity, three metric tons of Carbon are removed from the atmosphere, with a calculated permanence of at least 1000 years.
We very proud of our accomplishments but the Bella Team needs your help to do better. At scale, Bella can produce an estimated 5,000 metric tons of biochar annually, and remove approximately 15,000 metric tons of Carbon per plant. In order to achieve this we need to purchase additional heavy equipment. We also need to complete design and engineering of further equipment that will be powered by our production heat along with wind and ideally solar to run our biochar drying, screening, sizing, weighing and bagging stations.
If you share Bella Biochar's passion for people and planet please contribute to our campaign to fight world hunger and climate change. The sooner you help the faster we can get Bella Biochar into soil to increase crop yields and reduce carbon dioxide in the atmosphere for generations. Thank you so much for your interest in supporting Bella Biochar. We literally cannot do this without you!
