Project Description
BÈL Monique (BÈL) is a Digital Magazine that combines workshops, editorial photoshoots and fashion forward experiences to celebrate real women of color through editorial experiences! We provide them with a platform to rediscover and reconnect with themselves; so that who they are internally, can exude externally. Women are fully immersed in a variety of areas - including a cover feature on our monthly magazine, distributed to a growing network of multicultural women. We don’t want to just tell women that they’re beautiful, we want to provide women all throughout the country, with a transformational experience that makes them feel it too!
BÈL means beautiful in Haitian Creole, and Monique is in memory of Monique Camilien who died from lung cancer in 94'.
Every single one of our models are real, everyday women of color! Majority of them are non-professional models - just "regular" women who are mothers, students, career women, entrepreneurs, friends, sisters, wives, girlfriends...and they each have very unique and inspiring stories to share.

Includes a Personalized, Handwritten ‘Thank You!’ Postcard. You’ll be able to choose your size after the campaign (available colors: blue, neon yellow or red).
Whether you want to come with a friend, or gift it to 2 ladies - join us at one of our Editorial Private Parties where you’ll be part of celebrating 3 beautiful BÈL models who will be our next magazine covers! Guests must be 18 or older to attend. You’ll receive information on how to attend one of our events after the campaign.
A one on one dinner with Berlhey! Whether you’re an entrepreneur who wants advice on how to get started and start growing (no half-ass advice, we want to see you win!), or a woman who just wants to connect over great food and good conversation! Dinner's on us! We’ll contact you after the campaign to set up a place, date and time! Must be in the state of Massachusetts.
With your sponsorship, we’ll hold a contest in your name, where one lucky winner will get to participate in our I AM BÈL Editorial Event; which comes with an intimate workshop and editorial private party celebrating her beauty; she’ll get professional makeup application, hair styling, wardrobe styling and photography. And of course, she’ll also be featured in and on the cover of our magazine, where we’ll share her story with our entire audience! The winner will be chosen based on a story submission process, and YOU will have the option to take part in choosing who she is! Not only that, we’ll highlight you and/or your brand as the exclusive sponsor throughout the contest and after! This comes with 2 complimentary tickets to her editorial private party! One sponsor per event. Information will be sent to you after the campaign.
Berlhey will host a 6 hour workshop for your team (10 women max) on ‘Discovering Your Internal Beauty!’ The agenda includes: Identifying your gifts in life, Connecting in the spirit and rebuilding yourself, and Getting everything you want on the journey to discovering your beauty. Workbook, location, snacks and beverages will be provided. Information will be sent to you after the campaign.
