The Beauty Pharmacy

• The problem:

Our goal is to create an awesome shopping experience without coping with racism. We want to create second-chance jobs and give small minority-owned companies business opportunities. The issue we are addressing is that most beauty supplies aren’t owned back African Americans although we are constantly discriminated by while shopping.

• The solution

We plan on opening a beauty supply that not only carries big name brand products we want to carry products from small businesses. In doing this we can help these businesses get their products on shelves and provide opportunities in our community.

• Our mission

Our mission is to create a safe shopping experience and give small business owners a chance to get their products on shelves. We also want to have jobs that give people second chances, since there is no true rehabilitation of the prison system. We are also creating a room for small businesses to get products out to consumers.

• Where will the money go?

General operating expenses and development costs for the first year. I will be leasing retail space, paying one full-time and one part-time employee. Decor Inventory,  Supplies, and Tools.
