Project Description
I am J. Faith Bio, the owner, and founder of Hey Church Girl LLC (HCG). I am collaborating with Stephanie Aku to make the first HCG collection legendary. The mission of Hey, Church Girl is to fuse modesty and high-quality fashion for every woman to enjoy for any and every occasion. We achieve this by encouraging and empowering women that they are "Clothed with Strength & Dignity". The issue we see in the fashion industry is a lack of visibility for companies to accept the challenge of creating modest, fashionable, and readily available clothing. Hey, Church Girl seeks to bridge that gap by creating uniquely designed clothing that is easily accessible, affordable, regal. We use quality fabrics and collaborate with honorable Portuguese vendors to ensure that the pieces we create reflect the mission of Hey, Church Girl and guarantee 100% customer satisfaction.
Our market size/opportunity is approximately 800,000. This calculation was determined by multiplying our target audience of 5,000 women by 160 purchases within a four-month period.
HCG is in dire of funds to achieve its goal. Thorough research has indicated that cut and sew companies worldwide vary in price. When provided the funds, the funds will be spent to bring to fruition "The Beatus (Blessed) Collection," which includes a total of eight pieces:
(1) Two dresses (Grace and Meek),
(2) One vest/pant set- sold separately (Merciful Set),
(3) One blouse/skirt set- sold separately (Pure Set)
(4) Signature “Hey, Church Girl!” Tee shirt
By God's grace, we look forward to beginning production in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
The cost is as follows:
The Final Products required mass production of a minimum of 130 pcs per style ranging from $10- $40 for each style.
The Grace Dress is $25 each for 130 pieces. This totals $3,250.00.
The Meek dress is $25 each for 130 pieces. This totals $3,250.00
The Merciful Set together will cost $35 for 130 sets. This totals $4,550.00
The Pure Set together costs $40 for 130 sets. This total is $5,200.00.
Our final production total is $16,250.00, exclusive of shipping.
The funding will also go towards marketing and promotion once the samples have arrived. To run an ad on Tiktok is $500.00 minimum. To run an ad on Instagram is $500.00 minimum. To run an ad on Facebook for 120 days is $660.00. Content creation is approximately a minimum of $1,500. 00 for photoshoots, (3) models/influencers, and videography. This brings our marketing and promotion total to $3,160.00.
Our total for this collection will be $19,410.00.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you have to identify as Christian to shop with HCG? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Though HCG is a brand created and founded on Christian principles, we strongly encourage women of all backgrounds and ethnicities to shop at HCG. EVERY woman deserves to be draped in the best.
Does HCG ship worldwide? No, we do not. We ship within the United States and United States territories for now.
How long will it take to receive my order? Two- three days to process orders and five to seven business days to ship orders.
Can I return and exchange my items? We do accept returns and exchanges, so long as the return form is completed within ten days of receiving the order. Return and exchange items MUST be unworn with the tag still intact. Items must be free of any perfumes/scents, stains, debris, or damages (tears, missing/broken hardware).
Is HCG size inclusive? Yes, HCG is size-inclusive. Our sizes range from extra small to extra large. We will expand into 2X and possibly 3X for the next collection. See the size chart below. (Please note that Grace and Meek have a 3/3 stretch factor).
