Barter Black is a web application that makes it easy for Black-owned businesses to get the goods and services they need for their business by exchanging with each other WITHOUT USING MONEY.
The need to address the glaring but often ignored market gap led to the creation of Barter Black.
Our goal is to support businesses like yours in need of professional skills and products working within a budget.
Our platform is for you if you:

- Are open to other forms of transactions outside of money
Our vision is to establish Barter Black as a viable bartering marketplace. We are envisioned towards becoming the most used freelancing platform in the United States all while helping Black-owned businesses and black communities, at large, thrive.

Who are our Competitors?
We recognize the presence of companies like Fiverr, Freelancer, Upwork, and others, however, Barter Black is stepping ahead of them and integrating freelancing with bartering with a subscription-based business model targeted specifically to black entrepreneurs. For these reasons, we suffer no direct competition and are the determiner of our own fate. When comparing those platforms to Barter Black in terms of savings, there is no comparison. While for only $99 per month an entrepreneur can barter unlimited transactions on our platform, on those other platforms, $99 may not even get you a business plan.

Why Crowdfunding?
Our focus is to build a community around Black-owned businesses that help us grow and prosper. Because of that, we thought it would be best to start within our community to help raise the funds necessary to launch this application. This is where you come in!
