We’re raising money for the third and final season of Apollyon.  It’s the 22nd century. Drs. Theo Ramsey and Gabriel Larson work for the ICRS, the International Conglomerate of Research Scientists, a group of politicians and scientists working to keep the world as safe as possible in the wake of the Apollyon virus pandemic. Gabriel and Theo have developed an effective vaccine for AVS, but the process to get the vaccine to the public has uncovered secrets that make them question how good the ICRS really is. If you want to catch up on the story, the first two seasons are available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.

 

Who we are. Founded by Faith McQuinn in 2015, Observer Pictures was created on the idea of creating content deeply rooted in the human experience. Apollyon is no exception. Even though there is plenty of science in this fiction, Apollyon is truly about how a post-apocalyptic world affects the people in it. And this amazing, diverse cast and crew helps bring the characters and the world to life.

This cast and crew are insanely talented, and they deserve to be fairly compensated. $12,000 is the minimum to make it happen. If we don't hit that goal, it will take much longer for us to go into production, but we will go into production! • 45% of the funds will go to production to cover ten main cast members, day players, travel, and studio time. • 35% goes to post production to cover sound design, mixing, scoring, and transcriptions. • 12% goes to above-the-line to cover writing, directing, and producing. • The final 8% is for marketing which includes social media content creation, merchandise, and this crowdfunding campaign. This project does not happen without you. We see this as a team effort, and we want you to be a part of our team! The cast and crew promise to put forth the best of their talents to make a quality fiction podcast, and you are our support system. You'll get the opportunity to hear a well-produced, intense sci-fi drama exploring both the aftermath of a pandemic as well as the ethics behind human drug testing. The Campaign FAQs

What happens if you don't hit your $12,000 goal?

We absolutely need $12,000 to go into production. If we don't hit that goal with this campaign, we'll have to hold on production until we hit that number through revenue shares. This will postpone production by as much as six months, depending on the amount raised during this campaign.

 

What happens if you raise more than $12,000?

If we raise more than $12,000, we'll begin by paying everyone more (based on the percentages stated before).  If we go far beyond our goal, we have some plans that include more episodes and special events.

 

Are there other ways I can help support Apollyon and Observer Pictures?

As always, telling people about this campaign as well as the podcast is a HUGE help. Blast your love on social media, at work, at home, to random strangers on the street--we do love good publicity.

When will I get my reward?
