Anyways Kids Clothes

Overview:

Anyways is a line of children’s clothing that can be worn with any side facing out and any side facing forward.  With Anyways, kids can dress themselves and still look great and feel comfortable.  And their grownups can spend less time on laundry and dressing routines.

Problems we solve:  

Reduce the amount of time it takes to dress children, Children gain independence, pride, and confidence, Children are more comfortable, Parents save time folding laundry and laying out clothes because they don’t need to rotate garments or turn them inside out.  Help a wide range of people dress independently and comfortably (some of the groups we hope to help: sensory processing, eczema, limb differences, vision impairment)

Our Solution:

Our design, fabric, and stitching choices make clothing look exactly the same no matter which side is facing out or facing forward. 

Market Size:

There are approximately 20 million American children in our target age group (2-6 years old). Childrenswear market is projected to be worth $142 Billion by 2025.

How We'll spend our funding:

• Product Development - continue to refine our current line and add new products in more colors.
• Website Development - Shopify is pretty amazing and affordable, but we have some awesome ideas for our custom built website to help customers mix and match our products. 
• Marketing overhaul - to date, we’ve spent a minimal amount of money on marketing.  We’d love to work with a marketing firm or hire a marketing expert.
• Larger orders - we’d love to have enough money to increase order sizes and make new orders more quickly to keep our customers happy

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Apparel Design from Rhode Island School of Design
  • Experience working in design, construction, logistics for a children’s clothing company in NYC (Fabric buyer, production management and sample/pattern making)
  • 2 years parenting experience
• Brooke Jones
  • 15 years parenting experience
  • 13 years experience running successful businesses
