Our Story

My name is Tiffi'ni Davis, founder of For Hope's Sake LLC, a community-based mental health organization serving Baltimore City and beyond. Our dedicated team of social workers, nurses, resource specialist and peers provides critical mental health services to underserved communities, creating safe spaces for healing and growth.

In August 2024, my family and I survived a devastating gas explosion that condemned our home. While we are still rebuilding our personal lives from this tragedy, I remain committed to ensuring our vital community services continue uninterrupted.

Our Mission

At For Hope's Sake, we believe mental health support should be accessible to everyone. We provide:

• Support groups and workshops
• Mental health education and awareness programs
• Holistic wellness resources

Our approach focuses on meeting people where they are—both physically in their communities and emotionally in their healing journeys.

The Challenge

Despite the personal hardship my family continues to face after being displaced by the explosion, our commitment to serving the community hasn't wavered. However, we now face significant financial challenges that threaten our ability to continue our work:

1. We are experiencing critical delays in receiving Medicaid payments for services already rendered, creating an immediate cash flow crisis
2. These government payment delays have made it difficult to maintain our team of qualified social workers and nurses
3. We risk being unable to continue providing services in existing locations
4. The combination of personal displacement from the explosion and professional financial strain has created a perfect storm that threatens our organization's survival
