Project Description

Hi, my name is Cheryl Ingram, and I am an award-winning filmmaker an d DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) subject matter expert. I am also a content creator and the owner of CourageUS Productions, and we are in the process of creating our second documentary. Our first feature documentary won 9 awards in the indie circuit, and we are preparing the second.

I am raising 50K in order to film my new project, "DEI is Dying." The film will cover the challenges, the weaponization of DEI, the political attacks on our industry and many of the challenges DEI professionals face in the role. We will start filming in April 2024 and wrap up in July 2024, hoping to release in September 2024. The funds will go to the following:

Production (Includes production crew, rental equipment, and venue rentals): $25,000

Submissions (Festival submissions registration fees): $2500

Distribution: $10,000

Travel (For the production team to film festivals): $10,000

Marketing: $2500

We will include your name in our credits if you donate and provide premier tickets to our initial screening.

*Initial screenings will likely take place in Omaha and Los Angeles.*
