At Kola Goodies, we make delicious, easy, superfood and tea lattes, that are inspired by our South Asian heritage, made modern. We work directly with farmers in South Asia to source all our ingredients, enabling us to put 30-40% more money to the hands of the farmers, ensuring today's wellness trends also benefit the communities and cultures they originate from. Here’s the problem, there is no diversity or cultural representation in wellness. Although many of today’s wellness trends stem from South Asia, the profits and mindshare doesn’t go back to the communities and cultures they originate from. That’s what we’re changing, one delicious sip at a time.
Born and raised in Sri Lanka
Hi, I'm Sajani and this is my Amma (mom), Sujatha! I was born and raised in Sri Lanka and came to America at 18 for college, far away from home. I was working long hours in tech and stressed. I was looking for natural ways to nourish myself and be balanced, the way my Amma did for me when I was growing up in Sri Lanka. The quest to solve today's wellness needs naturally, and the opportunity to increase cultural representation in this industry, evolved into our super yummy, ethically-sourced goodies you see today.

- 50% of funds = Our team is small, mighty and diverse with 100% WOC. We are setting aside half of the campaign money to give an opportunity for a young bay area student to come in and get hands on experience with us. Creating good jobs is the future.
