Nadine Cino, LEED AP, known for her irrepressible entrepreneurial spirit, is an impassioned sustainability thought leader, speaker, and writer. Over the past 30+ years, as the Chief Executive Officer & co-Inventor of TygaBox Systems, Inc., Nadine, along with her partner, Marty Spindel, has transformed the moving and storage industry. Their invention, the TygaBox System, has saved its customers $300M in reduced moving costs, eliminated 2B lbs of cardboard from landfill and saved 200M trees from being destroyed.
Powerful impacts from the reuse of a simple box!
As a passionate SustainAbility Thought Leader, Nadine is the Queen of Reuse, and her vision is to “Make Reuse a Habit”, ending all social media contributions with “makereuseahabit.
Towards that end and in continuation of growing TygaBox, she’s introducing TygaTrax, another industry first by providing live-streaming security and tracking system to track everything and anything so you can find what you need when you need it and get a bigger bang from the stuff you already have.
TygaTrax is poised to become the next industry game changer, as it is the only technology available that is hands-free, scan-free and completely portable!
Her current passion is to combine reuse with public health safety and adapt TygaTrax to certify if procedural processes, such as sanitization, are met. So an example of where reuse and public health and safety converge is when publicly shared resources are used by one person after another (wheelchairs, ventilators, ER equipment), when the item is tagged with TygaTrax, a simple read of the tag with you phone will display a green or red light. If green, the indication is that you are the first person to use the item since is was last sanitized. If red, the indication is that it was not sanitized after the last person used it.
Acknowledged by her peers for her work in leadership and innovation, amongst her most recent awards:
