Melissa Lavender, owner, operator, and pastry chef of Clementine's Pastries. Melissa has a three decade resume that contains a wealth of experiences in the culinary field. Trained by a French Pastry Chef and three college degrees in culinary arts and education, allow her to use the skills and techniques learned throughout the years to provide quality and artistic made from scratch pastries complimented by the ability to manage people and the business. She is assembling a team of pastry chefs who bring experience, artistry, and passion to the business. Melissa is a strong, independent, and artistic woman. Melissa is a mom, a wife, an entrepreneur, and a leader. After years of working in an industry that is known for creating difficult work environments for women, Melissa is determined to create a collaborative, creative, and supportive working environment.
