Our focus lies in crafting and sourcing sustainable and affordable offerings, ensuring everyone can indulge in world-class beauty + wellness experiences from our brand and the best indie beauty brands from around the world both in stores and online.

The Problem
In today's beauty industry, finding products tailored to individual needs and preferences can be challenging. Many consumers struggle to find inclusive beauty brands that cater to diverse skin types, tones, and concerns. And the struggle is amplified with so many options and claims that consumers struggle to get through the red tape.
The Solution
YANY Beauty offers a solution by providing inclusive beauty products and services that cater to a wide range of skin types, tones, and ages of beauty. Our curated selection of skincare products is formulated to address diverse skincare concerns, while our cosmetics are formulated for the deepest melanated skin tones to the lightest hues, ensuring that everyone can find products that work for them. We take our approach a step further by sourcing clean beauty and wellness products from indie beauty founders and making them available in our stores and online. This helps customers make easier and more informed decisions knowing we have done some of the work for them. Every product in our store is either vegan/vegetarian, cruelty-free, made without parabens, sulfates, or phthalates, made from natural ingredients, and/or has ethical sourcing practices.
The Market
The global beauty and personal care market is booming, with a projected value of over $800 billion by 2025. However, Black and Brown women only realized a small portion of the global market dollars and we want to help change that.
What Your Support Funds
We are seeking funding to scale our operations, launch our franchising initiative, and fund our free esthetician apprenticeship program. The funding will be allocated towards, marketing efforts, franchising infrastructure, educational resources, and hiring qualified personnel to support our growth.

- We intend to scale our operations significantly. This involves optimizing our production processes, enhancing distribution networks, and streamlining logistics to meet the increasing demand for our products.
- Our plan includes the launch of a franchising initiative. This initiative will enable us to establish YANY Beauty stores in new locations, both domestically and internationally, bringing our inclusive beauty ethos to communities worldwide while allowing aspiring beauty store entrepreneurs easier access to entry.
- We are passionate about nurturing talent and fostering education in the beauty industry. Hence, part of the funding will be allocated to the implementation of our US Department of Labor-approved esthetician program. This program will provide aspiring skincare professionals with comprehensive training and resources to pursue rewarding careers in esthetics through licensure without tuition costs.
To execute these initiatives effectively, we will allocate funding across various areas. Building a robust franchising infrastructure demands financial resources. From site selection to store design and operational support, we aim to provide our franchisees with comprehensive assistance every step of the way. Furthermore, investing in educational resources is essential for the success of our esthetician program. This includes hiring experienced educators to deliver top-notch instruction and obtaining materials to give students the best on-the-job training available.
Last but not least, everyday operating costs are paramount to our ongoing success. We will use the funding to ensure we can maintain operationally while we invest more people power and financial resources into our franchise, esthetics program, and product sourcing. Your contribution will not only fuel our expansion but also enable us to make a meaningful impact in the beauty industry. By focusing on scaling operations, launching franchising opportunities, and investing in education, we are poised for success in realizing our vision of making beauty accessible to all.

YANY Beauty was founded by Yaminah Childress and Shania Childress a mother and daughter duo, who bring a wealth of experience in the beauty industry and a passion for inclusivity and who employ a team of sales professionals and beauty service providers. Our contract team comprises skilled professionals in product development, PR and marketing, operations, and advising, all dedicated to realizing our vision of making beauty accessible to all.
