Who do we help?
Women who experience loss of self, purpose, and identity, who are impacted by domestic violence, and those who can be left emotionally, psychologically and financially devastated post-separation. Women who become isolated, are unsupported and not validated in the experiences of abuse they have suffered.
Grief and trauma from what I call the three D’s of relationship endings.
Divorce, Death of a spouse or partner, Discard as in the abrupt termination of their relationship.
I myself have experienced all three - read my experience.
- The problem we are solving.
In talking with other women on my social platforms around Domestic Violence and their experiences it became apparent as in my own experience that many women are failed by the legal system despite elaborate legislation and the many Domestic Abuse Organisations.
I myself received very little in the way of support after being advised to file a Gender Violence complaint with the Spanish police in October 2020.
My experience is not unique.
My research has shown me that many women are failed in the Justice system, they can lose access to their children, their homes and their employment. A number of women became homeless after suffering domestic violence. Others had ex-partners who were vindictive or revengeful and were using their power and money to actively pursue former partners through the legal system that had already failed them.
The market size/opportunity?

According to the Office for National Statistics, 1.2 million women and 700,000 men experience domestic violence each year. These figures relate only to official reports of violence, the real figure is likely to be much higher.
Domestic violence has an estimated overall cost to mental healthcare of £176 million.

Ireland - RTE News

These issues are global and the online platform will be the initial contact with English-speaking women across the world.
Global Report 2020
According to the Global Gender Gap Report 2020, 31 per cent of women had suffered from intimate partner physical and/or sexual violence.
What is your company/product about and how does it solve the problem?
My Company will raise awareness of the issues on the subject of hidden abuses and bring women victims together to talk about the best ways to campaign for changes. The initial element will be a very low-cost monthly online membership platform of £8 offering video courses, training opportunities, and helping women with tools and methods to regain emotional stability and safety. Helping them to rebuild their lives.
They will be able to learn new skills as a member, plus opportunities to start their own journey into entrepreneurship, something I have been passionate about all of my adult life.
My past volunteer, employment and business history includes:-
Welfare rights and money advisor - volunteer with CAB
Charitable Project Fundraising & European Funding Monitoring Officer - 1999 - 2007
Property Management & Rentals Business - Founder Owner 2006 - 2016

The ultimate experience will be to book a retreat in the Spanish countryside so that women can come together and share their stories, gain confidence and know that they are not alone. Part of what started in the women’s refuge movement in the 1970s was how women were able to share their stories it was empowering for them.
We have seen more of this with the #metoo movement that gained momentum in 2017.
- Me Too - Article from Forbes
Women struggle as mothers and housewives they do not consider that they could do something different to get out of the poverty trap. I find that there is very little support with this unless you already have access to finances to invest in training or coaching which is often difficult to obtain. Many women stay trapped in abusive relationships and if they leave they risk poverty long term or their lives spiral downwards through fear, panic and not gaining access to the right support to help them to recover from the emotional trauma they have suffered in the relationship and post-separation.
It seems to me that many cultural practices and attitudes impact women who have suffered emotional, psychological, sexual, verbal & financial abuses, not only that but they are re-victimised in the legal system when an offender can use the law and legal loopholes to further damage their targets.
Growing a global following that can campaign beyond the echo chambers found on social platforms is my ultimate target in raising awareness.

I have already been working on various digital platforms, and have invested in personal development and learning new skills over the past two years. All while under the threat of being made homeless in Spain. The main reason behind writing my first non-fiction book, and self-publishing, was to raise awareness of hidden emotional abuses and highlight the gaps in the laws.
My 1st Book:- Post-Separation Abuse, Betrayal & Abandonment, What Type Of Man?
Available in paperback and digital platforms.

I have been living “precariously” in the home that I moved to in 2016 when my then-partner purchased what was our first home together in 2015.
Living in Spain was always a dream I had. However, I never ever thought that at 61 years I would be seeking to rebuild my life over again after the abrupt termination of the relationship in August 2020. Or that a former partner would turn against me the way he did, I didn't see the hidden forms of abuse until after the relationship was terminated by him. That realisation caused more trauma than the death of my previous partner.
- Who is on our team?
I have one VA who assists in marketing my book sales.
I’m seeking a team of volunteers who can help with my Crowdfunding Campaign.
- Thank You from me and thousands of women worldwide. Your support is appreciated.
Your generosity amazes me and I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has read through this campaign, and has supported as a volunteer, purchased my book, and donated to the project. This is a subject that is very close to my heart and can be a very emotional topic to talk about, especially for someone who has experienced domestic abuse and the gaps in the laws that often fail women.
I am truly appreciative because of your donations women will be able to access the resources and support they need and it will open doors for them as they grow and transition through the online membership and for those who can attend Just Love Zinas, Self-Discovery Retreat.
