Project Description
WE utilize a unique multi-sensory storytelling method to elevate your aromatic, audible, visual, and at times, tactile candle burning experience.
WE empower our SITC Neighbors to make intentional space for themselves to indulge, rest, reflect and reconnect.
WE are unveiling a market for custom messages to be shared and illuminated.
FROM OUR CITY TO YOURS, WE ARE GIVING LIGHT TO THE PEOPLE. JOIN US IN FINDING OUR WAY, ONE CANDLE AT A TIME.
Funds from our IFW neighbors will allow us to:
[ ESSENTIALS ]
- Contribute to design subscriptions, shipping services, e-commerce hosting fees and daily essential costs
- Expand inventory items with new bold vessels and [city themed] fragrance profiles
[ ENGAGEMENT ]
- Invest in BIPOC and/or womxn artists, creatives and healers through candle and gift box collaborations
- Provide community “City Makers” workshops in the Baltimore community and beyond
[ ELEVATION ]
- Upgrade candle lab (The Sola Suite), marketing and design equipment
- Create signature SITC candle vessels and packaging directly from manufacturers
[ EXPERTISE ]
- Invest in our founder’s design and project management skills via up-training and certification programs
- Hire and/or train with herbalist(s) and chemist(s) to create original Sola in the City fragrances
