ABOUT THE SELECTS GALLERY:
The Selects Gallery is the premier online destination for museum quality, large format art photography from the world's best Fashion photographers.
Our exclusive curation brings back to life hundreds of the most striking images from the archives of internationally renowned photographers published in top international publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, W, Numéro and more.
WHY WE CREATED THE GALLERY?
Throughout my 20+ year career as a marketing executive in fashion and beauty, I was privileged to work with some of the most talented photographers in the industry, along with their teams of makeup artists, hairdressers, and stylists. I funded the gallery out of love for Fashion photography and with the desire to create a way to perpetuate the result of that incredibly creative collaboration.
Fashion photographs are an interpretation of our times, an interpretation beautified to an extreme, like impressionism or modern art are an interpretation of the reality... I believe we will soon be nostalgic of the amazing pictures that were shot in the 90’s/ early 2000 with big budgets and intense creativity by the fashion magazines.
Fashion photography is a niche that is growing, thanks to the recent success of major Fashion exhibitions (Dior in Paris, the Met in NY or the major retrospective at the Getty Museum in LA on 150 year of Fashion Photography), but there was no real destination for it that was easy to access. The Selects Gallery wants to make these images available and show them to the public before they disappear with their authors.
WHY WE NEED FUNDING?
Our gallery is online and we found that pop ups and art exhibitions help raise the visibility of the images and bring their striking impact to life in an easier way for prospective buyers. These images are of such a high quality that every time we have the opportunity to exhibit them, they have an arresting impact on the people who look at them. This is a beautiful thing to witness!
One year after the launch the gallery is now at a turning point. We have now the opportunity to exhibit in a major Art Fair in NYC, which will bring the credibility we need to accelerate the Gallery's awareness, increase the value of our images and expand our partnerships with fashion and beauty brands. We are on a crusade which is self-funded and I am now turning to you for your help.
An art fair of this caliber is expensive and this is why this campaign started: the booth itself, the advertising fee and all fees that go with it, the printing and framing of the art, the installation, the marketing. We have evaluated the cost at $25,000. If we raise beyond the $25,000, the money will go towards more exhibitions so that the work can be shown even more!
As a small business owner, I am turning to you to help me give visibility and credibility to the gallery and the photography we feature. There are different funding levels and rewards. I hope you consider backing this project so that in the future we can continue to exhibit more and more.

What is the quality you offer?
We offer archival quality prints
High end papers chosen for their optimal rendering based on the image and mounting choice. Printing as archival Pigment prints with UltraChrome PRO, independently rated by Wilhelm Research for up to 200 years for color prints and up to 400 years for black-and-white prints.
WE OFFER MUSEUM QUALITY MOUNTING AND FRAMING
Prints are professionally mounted on High grade acrylic, aluminum clad panels or foamcore. Every frame is made to measure and assembled by hand in the US. We use the US manufacturer Larson-Juhl for our custom size wood frames, which are FSC® and PEFC® certified.
EACH IMAGE IS LIMITED EDITION AND COMES WITH A SIGNED CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY
The Certificate of Authenticity is a document that certifies that the sold artwork is an authentic creation by the artist that signed it. In most cases, the certificate of authenticity will come separately from the mounted piece.
Where do you ship?
Location Items offered on our website are only available for delivery to addresses in continental US. We currently do not ship to P.O Boxes and outside the U.S.
