When will I receive my reward?
We will ship rewards after the campaign closes, and will work with you if the reward is an event that requires scheduling!
Are your essential oils organic?
Yes! All of our essential oils are 100% pure and USDA certified organic. Check out more info about our P.E.T.A.L.S. promise here!
How many survivors do you currently employ?
We currently employ nine courageous women, seven in India and two in the U.S. You can meet them here, listen to their stories here, and read an amazing article here. Our vision is big and you can help us employ so many more women by contributing to the campaign and helping us grow!
Do you physically rescue women from trafficking/exploitation ?
No. Savhera provides employment while working with partner NGOs/nonprofits to identify women they are serving who are ready for employment. Sometimes those women have already escaped a trafficking situation or exited prostitution, or are ready to leave a brothel or sex work if presented with an alternative employment opportunity.
What is the Savhera work environment like?
We cultivate a trauma-informed workplace that takes into consideration the emotional and psychological wellbeing of all employees. For example, we do not ask colleagues to continually retell their story, do not treat them as mere numbers or labels, do not violate trust, and do things “with,” not “for.”
Also, our proprietary human development model, the P.I.E.S. Approach is designed to foster holistic personal growth in four areas: physical, intellectual, economic, and spiritual.
We are dedicated to employing and empowering survivors of sexual exploitation. We cultivate a workplace that is supportive, encourages growth, and helps our employees succeed in all aspects of their lives.
