Project Description
Replenish 509 leverages the cultural economy to enable more people to be part of collective efforts to transform Haiti by
- BUILDING BRIDGES between transformation work in progress and entrepreneurs to innovate socio-economic impact.
- SHAPING THE NARRATIVE about Haiti by promoting its culture and collaborations in progress.
HOW WE DO IT:
1. Connect to Replenish – our virtual exchange program enabling people to navigate working and living in Haiti. We discuss the cultural nuances and explore concrete ways to collaborate and support vetted initiatives in Haiti. Participants learn to better navigate networks in Haiti and connect with socially conscious individuals to further the collective effort.
2. Replenish Ayiti – our marketplace for products Made-In-Haiti. We work with entrepreneurs to improve their quality standards, marketing and packaging, and corporate social responsibility practices to reach other markets.
3. Reviv Ayiti – our storytelling arm showcasing cultural values of Tèt Ansanm (collective efforts) and artistic ingenuity. Through exclusive meetings and public events, we enable people to experience Haitian culture and learn more about initiatives nurturing collective efforts.
Please support this crowdfunding campaign to raise $40,000 for Replenish 509 to extend operations beyond Haiti into the U.S. Each of the rewards are connected to the work we do and will give you a taste of what’s to come.
