Camilla Spadafino is an artist and art teacher living and working in East Nashville, Tennessee. Her business, Platypus Plains LLC, currently produces and sells a line of coloring books on Amazon entitled Ms. Camilla's Neighborhood. Camilla is currently teaching high school artists at Nashville School of the Arts.

Camilla has now designed a paint by numbers kit that depicts Nashville's most festive locale, Lower Broad. Each kit will contain a paintable line map with numbers, a set of paints with colors named after some of Nashville's most unique cultural icons, and a paintbrush. Paint the Town by Numbers Nashville will be the first in a series of paint by number designs. You are helping to raise the funds needed to manufacture and ship the first run of kits which will be sold in various Nashville venues, as well as fund the creation of new designs.

The Campaign FAQs
As the kits are being manufactured and shipped from overseas, delays could occur relating to quality control, customs issues, etc. The estimate given relating to the shipping of kits to supporters is based on the good faith estimate of the manufacturer and the timeframe typical of similar ventures. We have waited to begin the funding process until all the pieces are in place for production to begin in an effort to minimize possible problems.

This book contains 29 portraits of various Nashvillians with intricate images in the background that relate to their personalities and dreams for their future. This has been a successful seller on Amazon, and with a $15 contribution Camilla will mail you an actual copy of the coloring book. The images are complex, allowing for hours of creative enjoyment by yourself or with others.

You will email Camilla a photo to work from, five things about the person she is drawing and the person's dream for the future. Camilla will turn all of this into a beautiful black and white line drawing filled with symbols that tell each person’s story. You will receive a digital image of the coloring page that you can make as many copies of as you like. Your coloring sheet will be emailed to you. The image can also be used on social media and personal stationary (and other items) as long as it's not resold. All images will be emailed by the middle of June.
This is an approximate 3 foot by 4 foot wooden panel with the line art from the Tomato Art Paint by Numbers Kits. The panel is ready for painting and includes a set of acrylic craft paints and brushes. Camilla will make arrangements to deliver the panel and paints and brushes within a week from the day of purchase if you live in Nashville. If you do not live in Nashville you will need to make your own arrangements for shipping or picking up.
